Restorative Therapeutic Exercise - $35 per quarter hour
We have a saying at our office... "Exercise is Medicine." A "one size fits all" exercise prescription approach has failed over and over again when dealing with what are thought to be specific diagnoses. At our facility, your diagnosis may seem clear, but the cause of the injury may not be as cut and dry as you think! Your specific exercise prescription will be created to address the CAUSE(S) of your individual illness/injury, not movements based on a database of pictures or a card catalog (please excuse the stick-man drawings where necessary!)
PNF Stretching - - $35 per quarter hour
In PNF stretching techniques, some combination of muscular contraction and relaxation is used. There are many variations of the technique in use today, and for specific outcomes. These techniques are referred to as names such as contract-relax, hold-relax, contract-hold-relax, post isometric relaxation, active isolated stretching, and many more. The technique of PNF stretching is utilized to get the maximal allowable muscle length available to effect the patient outcome in a favorable manner.
